PATHESCOPE ACE silent PROJECTOR hand - turned

Title

PATHESCOPE ACE silent PROJECTOR hand - turned

Description

The most famous of all Pathescope projectors and the stuff that many a home movie enthusiast started out with. A very simple projector in design and ingenious. The mechanism was a development of the early BABY. This example was first created for the closed 30ft and 60ft. cassette, and was available later for the use of spooled film. The light output is by a 16volt 8watt lamp. Though production of the ACE was withheld during WW2 then production continued right up until 1960 although with improvements and modifications. Other ACE's can be found in the Collection.
